3 Session Mini-Survey of Tibetan Buddhism
Class starts Monday, July 28

    Description

A class primarily for those students who are going to be taking the preliminary practices of Ngnodro beginning on August 17 and have not had an adequate survey of the whole path of Tibetan Buddhism. This mini-class is a condensed version of the usual 16-session full Survey course. For this reason, it is required that students read both textbooks prior to the first class and bring to class any questions or need for clarification they may have on each chapter. The format for each class will be primarily addressing questions and clarifications.

    Instructor: Ruth Pancoast

Ruth Pancoast was a psychotherapist for 40 years, the last 25 years in full-time private practice. The evolution of her psychotherapy orientation went from psychoanalytic to existential to feminist (founded Feminist Psychotherapy) to humanistic to bioenergetics to primal to past lives to transpersonal to focusing on the integration of psychotherapy and spirituality. She's been on a direct spiritual path for the last 30 years.  From 1987-2003, she was a practitioner of Ageless Wisdom, the works of Alice Bailey, and from 2003 to date is a practitioner of Tibetan Buddhism.
